Job summary

Silveira Behavior Consultants is seeking a dedicated individual to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in 1:1 or small group settings in Illinois. You will implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans, collect data, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

We welcome candidates pursuing or holding a related Bachelor’s degree and/or an active RBT certification. The role offers ongoing training, supervision by BCBAs, and opportunities for growth within a small,

Qualifications

  • Active certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred but not required.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children with autism or related developmental disabilities.
  • Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Speech Pathology, Early Childhood Education, etc.; highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format.
  • Accurately implement skill acquisition programs and individual treatment plans.
  • Accurately implement behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans.
  • Collect data in a data collection system.
  • Generate and maintain accurate billing and clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with client families and related professionals on updates, progress and concerns.
  • Uphold company policies and ethics; implement ABA in line with BACB guidelines.
  • Maintain PHI in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Participate in initial and ongoing staff training and commit to continuous learning.
  • Collaborate on design and preparation of program materials.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continue learning and performance improvement.
  • Collaborating on design and preparation of program materials.
Qualifications
  • Possess an active certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT; highly preferred, but not required)
  • Have -a year of experience in working with children with autism and/or related developmental disabilities (required)
  • Are pursuing (with at least 2 years completed) and/or hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Education, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Speech Pathology, Early Childhood Education, etc.; highly preferred, but not required)
