Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Purple Line Infrastructure Operations Center (IOC) Operator to monitor and control critical transit infrastructure systems in support of commissioning and transition to O&M.

You will work with SCADA, RTUs, CCTV, and alarm systems, coordinating with construction and testing teams. Based at the Glenridge Operations and Maintenance Facility or Backup OMF, this role requires rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet commissioning and operational

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational school or associate degree preferred.
• 6+ years in infrastructure ops centers, transit ops, SCADA or power systems, or critical infrastructure monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time status of infrastructure systems (traction power, SCADA/RTUs, trackside interfaces, communications, CCTV).
• Identify, acknowledge, and triage alarms and faults.
• Perform system checks and readiness verifications prior to testing windows.
• Coordinate switching operations via SCADA and ensure safety and procedures.
