Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Purple Line Infrastructure Operations Center (IOC) Operator to monitor and control critical transit infrastructure.

The role supports final commissioning, testing, and transition to full O&M, coordinating with construction and testing teams to maintain safety and operational integrity. The position requires rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and is based at the Glenridge OMF / Backup OMF.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in infrastructure operations centers or transit operations.
• Experience with SCADA/control room operations and power systems.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and SOPs.
• Strong safety and procedural compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time status of Purple Line systems and alarms.
• Coordinate with field teams and control center staff.
• Perform switching operations and ensure safety protocols.
• Support commissioning, SIT, and testing activities.
• Maintain logs and report anomalies.
