Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is hiring for a lab technician role in San Diego, onsite, supporting purification and QC activities in the Purification Value Stream. You will prepare reagents, monitor QC results, and operate both automated and manual lab equipment according to SOPs and safety rules.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED with lab experience, and degrees in science are preferred. IDT offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 18 months of lab experience.
• Associate’s degree in science related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in science related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, test and monitor reagents for synthesis, purification, and quality control processes
• Assesses QC data accurately and makes pass/fail decisions for oligos
• Use automated and manual lab equipment accurately; including limited maintenance, decontamination and troubleshooting activities while adhering to safety regulations, lab SOPs, and contamination controls
