Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Technician I – Chemical Processing and Materials Quality Control (Weekday Overnight). You will follow SOPs, handle hazardous materials safely, and perform quality control on materials using analytical equipment.

The role requires a lab background, ability to wear a respirator, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. On-site work with benefits and bonus potential is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 18+ months lab experience, or AA/AS with 1+ year lab experience.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling procedures and protocols.
• Ability to wear a full-face air-purifying respirator.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs for formulation, storage, and transport of all mixtures and reagents for production.
• Change waste containers and dispose of hazardous materials per Federal and DOT regulations.
• Use analytical and sample handling equipment to perform quality control on raw materials, mixtures, and formulations.
