Job summary

Evotec SE in Redmond, WA is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Operations - Purification to supervise a 24/7 shift and provide technical leadership on purification processes for biotherapeutics.

The role requires strong cGMP knowledge, hands-on floor presence, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, documentation, and successful start-up, validation, and technology transfer activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cGMP requirements to ensure compliance.
• Significant experience in purification operations required for the manufacture of biotherapeutics.
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership.
• Ability to organize, analyze data and communicate results.
• Motivated, self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Good interpersonal, team, and communication skills are a must.
• May lead cross-functional teams within and external to Just.
• Responds to equipment alarms.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a shift to cover 24/7 operation.
• Generate and maintain cGMP manufacturing and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical expertise for investigations.
• Ensure staff training and compliance with cGMP.
• Execute plant start-up, commissioning and validation activities.
• Support technology and process transfer; assist capital budgeting.
• Respond to equipment alarms and lead cross-functional projects.
