Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a solid Cattle Assistant for a Nebraska purebred operation. You will assist with weights, tagging, record keeping, AI and heat checks, calving, and yard duties to support the development of bulls and heifers for annual sale.

Ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in purebred cattle, dependable work ethic, good decision making, and willingness to take on broader duties. Housing and benefits are provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience with purebred cattle operations and accurate record keeping.
• Knowledge of AI and heat check procedures is preferred.
• Ability to read weights, tags, and manage routine health tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in purebred development, calving, and show cattle preparation.
