To accomplish the Clerk’s Office core mission of serving the citizens of Collier County, the Purchasing Technician provides administrative support for the Clerk’s Office purchasing operations. This position assists in developing and executing Clerk’s Office purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relations with suppliers, and coordinating with internal stakeholders regarding the purchasing of goods and services. The Purchasing Technician is responsible for ensuring procurement is done in compliance with Clerk’s Office policies, State procurement statutes, and coordinating purchasing schedules.
This position will be responsible for performing key functions, including:
Associate’s degree in business administration, public administration, logistics, supply chain or a related field; supplemented by one years of related experience.
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job may be substituted for the education or experience requirement.
