Jabil in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to oversee Materials Professionals at the site, including Analysts, Buyers, Planners and Supervisors. You will lead and develop teams, manage purchasing activities, and drive cross-functional initiatives to meet site objectives.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in a related field (MBA preferred), 3+ years in materials purchasing in manufacturing, and 1+ year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Logistics Management, Business Management or related discipline; MBA preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Materials Purchasing in a Manufacturing environment.
• A minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and administrates the Materials Analysis teams for a Site.
• May lead a group of professional analysts in Purchasing, Inventory control, Planning and configuration Management Support.
• Supervises the data management process.
• Leads cross-functional assignments and projects.
• Works with site management to develop organizational objectives.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
