Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Source materials, components, and tooling to support manufacturing operations and new product development.
• Develop supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and terms.
• Evaluate quotations, issue purchase orders and bid requests, and support trial orders.
• Analyze procurement costs and implement cost reduction strategies, including annual price negotiations.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on technical capabilities, quality, pricing, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, manufacturing facilities, and suppliers on technical specifications and purchasing requirements.
• Resolve supplier-related issues involving quality, delivery, and invoicing.
• Monitor supply chain risks, market trends, and material availability.
• Communicate with overseas headquarters and support purchasing activities across multiple facilities.
• Perform other purchasing-related duties as assigned.
