Responsibilities

  • Ensure availability of goods and services to support site operations.
  • Create, process, and expedite purchase orders while monitoring delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, deliveries, pricing, quality concerns, and shipment details.
  • Maintain accurate supplier master data, purchasing records, contracts, invoices, and related documentation.
  • Execute procurement activities in alignment with sourcing strategies, operational requirements, company policies, and EHS standards.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations, support sourcing and tender activities, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier performance, maintain supplier relationships, and support forecasting, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Planning, and Warehouse teams to support business needs.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Strategic Procurement Specialistto support our procurement team in managing day-to-day purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, global environment. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth procurement operations and timely delivery of goods and services.

What will you be doing?

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure availability of goods and services to support site operations.
  • Create, process, and expedite purchase orders while monitoring delivery schedules and resolving supply issues.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, deliveries, pricing, quality concerns, and shipment details.
  • Maintain accurate supplier master data, purchasing records, contracts, invoices, and related documentation.
  • Execute procurement activities in alignment with sourcing strategies, operational requirements, company policies, and EHS standards.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations, support sourcing and tender activities, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier performance, maintain supplier relationships, and support forecasting, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Planning, and Warehouse teams to support business needs.
  • Assist with inventory monitoring and supply continuity planning.
  • Prepare and distribute reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, delivery status, and cost tracking.
  • Provide administrative support to procurement operations, including coordination, scheduling, and documentation management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement processes, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Provide data, updates, and recommendations to supervisors and sourcing leadership as needed.
