Qualifications

• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and purchasing/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory purchasing decisions based on demand and replenishment needs.
• Manage purchase orders from issuance through receipt.
• Monitor inventory levels and address shortages or excess inventory.
• Evaluate pricing, freight terms, and discounts.
• Analyze reports to identify trends, risks, and purchasing priorities.
• Maintain inventory health by reviewing dead stock and excess inventory.
• Support new product setup and ongoing product maintenance.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and data integrity in systems.
• Communicate with vendors about pricing, availability, and updates.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Accounting, and other teams.
• Support special projects, audits, and inventory initiatives.
• Provide timely communication regarding inventory, pricing, freight, and purchasing activities.

WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE DAY-TO-DAY

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• High school diploma or GED required
• College coursework or degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, operations support, sales support, or a related roleli>
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and purchasing or inventory management systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to accurately work with pricing, freight, costs, margins, and detailed data
