This onsite role requires ownership of demand-based purchasing, vendor coordination, and accurate data management. The position emphasizes analyzing reports, managing POs, and maintaining pricing integrity while collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Accounting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, operations support, sales support, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and purchasing or inventory management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory purchasing decisions based on demand and replenishment needs.
• Manage purchase orders from issuance through receipt.
• Monitor inventory levels and address shortages or excess inventory.
• Evaluate pricing, freight terms, and discount opportunities.
• Analyze reports to identify trends, risks, and purchasing priorities.
• Maintain inventory health by reviewing dead stock, non-stock items, and excess inventory.
• Support new product setup and ongoing product maintenance.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and data integrity within company systems.
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and product updates.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Accounting, and other internal teams.
• Support special projects, audits, and inventory initiatives.
• Provide timely communication regarding inventory, pricing, freight, and purchasing activities.
