Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is offering an internship in the Global Procurement Supply Chain (GPSC), providing a hybrid role that blends Purchasing and Sourcing support. You will help set up suppliers, generate weekly reports, and collaborate with Engineering and other teams to secure accurate part information.

The internship requires progress toward a Bachelor's in Business Administration or related field, with an emphasis on strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Student working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field for entire duration of internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working independently and efficiently.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain existing suppliers within the Pierce database.
• Prepare weekly reports for department leads to assist in decision making.
• Partner with cross functional team to gather part drawings and additional part information to support the GPSC sourcing team.
• Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers to obtain cross references of part numbers.
• Liaise between GPSC and Engineering to provide updated part drawings to the supplier.
• Process internal purchasing requests for non-inventory parts and services.
• Assist with mass price updates in the company ERP system.
