Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, a global leader in specialty and access equipment, seeks a GPSC supply chain internship at IMT in Iowa. You will support supplier setup, data reporting, and cross-functional work with engineering and procurement teams to optimize part sourcing.

As a student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, you will gain hands-on experience in supplier relations, ERP data updates, and purchasing requests, while developing cost-awareness and process

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain suppliers within the Pierce database.
• Prepare weekly reports for department leads.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for part drawings and data.
• Maintain supplier relationships to obtain part number cross references.
• Liaise between GPSC and Engineering for updated part drawings.
• Process internal purchasing requests for non-inventory parts and services.
• Complete tax-exempt certificates as needed.
• Assist with mass price updates in the ERP system.
• Gather data to estimate arrival dates and annual usage for sourcing.
• Assist with training for the new Supplier Portal.
• Support department improvement projects.
• Help GPSC with past due orders and shortages.
