Purchasing/Procurement Specialist III (Contracts & Negotiations)

We're seeking an IT Contracts / Purchasing/Procurement Specialist III for a 6-month plus W2 contract position, with long-term potential.

This is a REMOTE position for our growing, global client supporting the Pacific Time zone.

The ideal candidate will have senior-level skills with IT contracts, negotiations, and sourcing capabilities. Experience with strategic planning, renewals, SmartSheet or similar products, and MS Teams for meetings and collaboration is required.

*** Duration: 6-12+ month W2 contract, with potential to extend

*** Location: Remote within the United States

*** Compensation: $45-50/hr W2 plus benefits, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

Experience in IT-related negotiations and strong business acumen.

Skills Needed:

1. Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in planning and executing contract negotiations between suppliers and customers.
2. Ability to develop and execute negotiation strategies, and right-size agreements based on volume and spend.
3. Excellent prioritization and work planning skills.
4. Capability to support multiple ongoing negotiations of varying sizes across multiple stakeholders and commodity groups.
5. Supplier negotiation experience and expertise.
6. Understanding of Technology and Telecom sectors.
7. Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, Software agreements, IT Services agreements, and Technology hardware.
8. Experience with DocuSign and SAP Ariba is a plus.
9. Support to business owners with sourcing requests.
10. Support for Contract Separation deliverables related to the project.
11. Previous experience in supplier contract negotiations.
12. Administrative support such as progress tracking and weekly report summaries.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration; a Master's degree is preferred.
2. Juris Doctor degree is a significant plus.
