Lennar is seeking a Purchasing Assistant in Houston to learn LOC operating systems and build trusted relationships with division leaders in a high-performance culture. The role emphasizes accurate entry for plans, take-offs, and budget-aware purchasing across communities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong Excel/Word skills, and effective written and verbal communication. JD Edwards experience is preferred, with a focus on multi-tasking under deadlines and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literate with efficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• JD Edwards experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Professionally perform multiple, detail oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
• Possess strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty.
• Be a team player with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and maintain plan take-off information, including complete entry for new and revised plans.
• Set-up and maintain option take-offs for all plans/communities within their division(s) of responsibility.
• Monitor home site (lot) budgeting in compliance with projected start dates.
• Reviewing preliminary lot starts prior to finalizing.
• Interact with estimating and division purchasing to resolve any issues.
• Generate and maintain supplier/trade partner item pricing by utilizing the upload/download process.
• Update purchase orders as directed by division partners to maintain current cost, quantities or Trade Partners.
• Respond to varying workload and pace as defined by the business needs.
• Process Z- Report tickets.
• Process AV report tickets.
• Process PO deletion tickets.
