KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a company near Franklin, NH, seeking to add a Purchasing Assistant to their Belmont team. This temporary, hourly position offers a fast-paced environment requiring organization and accuracy in AP/purchasing tasks.

Responsibilities include entering purchase orders, ensuring correct coding, and maintaining purchasing records while supporting the purchasing team with day-to-day needs. Compensation is up to $25/hr DOE.

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Payable, Purchasing, or related accounting/administrative experience.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately review and code purchase orders.
• Comfortable working with Excel.
• Experience with Viewpoint is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process purchase orders accurately within the company's system
• Review purchase orders to ensure proper coding and accuracy
• Perform high-volume data entry and maintain accurate purchasing records
• Identify and correct coding or data discrepancies
• Support the purchasing team with day-to-day administrative and transactional needs
• Maintain organized documentation related to purchase orders and purchasing activity
• Assist with additional AP and purchasing-related responsibilities as needed
