Job summary

Compunetics, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing/Supply Chain professional to manage supplier relations, pricing, and inventory in a manufacturing setting.

The role focuses on RFQs, PO generation, supplier development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time delivery and quality. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in purchasing or SCM within manufacturing, strong negotiation, and ERP experience, plus solid communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business.
• 3–5 years purchasing or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP, planning, expediting and inventory control.
• Knowledge of industrial materials and PCB a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; supervision experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs and purchase orders and submit to suppliers.
• Source and develop new suppliers; negotiate prices.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers and internal teams for best price, quality and delivery.
• Manage inventory and oversee shipping/receiving; supervise department.
• Maintain work instructions and daily cycle counts.
• Coordinate semi-annual uniform orders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQ\'s and Purchase Orders and submit to suppliers
• Source and develop new suppliers
• Negotiate prices
• Collaborate with approved suppliers for best price, quality and delivery
• Liaise between suppliers, customers and internal account management, Planning and Production
• Coordinate semi-annual uniform orders
• Maintain departmental work instructions
• Maintain daily inventory daily cycle counts
• Supervise and oversee the Shipping/Receiving Department

Requirements

• Bachelor - Supply Chain Management or Business
• 3-5 years purchasing/Supply Chain Management at a manufacturing facility
• Industrial materials, chemicals, laminates and other raw material procurement experience preferred
• PCB experience a plus
• Understanding of ERP, Planning, expediting and inventory control processes in a production environment
• Solid Interpersonal, communication, and multi-tasking skills required
• Some supervision or team leadership experience desired
