Job summary

Compunetics, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to take ownership of selected manufacturing processes and related process controls. You will strengthen existing controls, work instructions, and participate in engineering/quality activities.

Responsibilities include assessing equipment and human resources, and recommending new equipment to senior management. Some direct supervision of technicians and operators may be required. A BS in engineering and PCB manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

  • BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3–5 years' PCB manufacturing experience with process control and improvement.
  • Experience supervising technicians or operators preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in failure analysis, process control, and cost reduction.
  • Familiarity with SPC techniques and quality metrics preferred.

Compunetics, Inc. is a manufacturer of state‑of‑the‑art rigid and flexible circuit boards producing products from fast‑turn high‑tech multilayer circuit board prototypes to non‑traditional, high‑density and high‑speed interconnects which serve a wide variety of customer requirements. Compunetics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to take ownership of selected manufacturing processes and related process controls. Strengthen existing controls and work instructions and participate in engineering/quality activities.

Requirements
  • BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3–5 years' experience in a PCB manufacturing environment with involvement and responsibility for process control, process improvement, and new process development.
  • Experience with direct supervision of junior engineers, technicians, or operators is strongly preferred.
  • Problem‑solving skills in failure analysis, process control, process improvement, cost reduction, equipment selection, and personnel training are required.
  • Strong interpersonal and computer skills are required.
  • Familiarity with SPC techniques and software, process control, and quality metrics is preferred.
