Job summary

Frontier Airlines, a Denver-based carrier, is seeking a Manager, Purchasing to lead a team focused on OEM contracts for aircraft, jet engines and related maintenance agreements. You will oversee contracting, vendor management, and process improvements across cross-functional groups to drive cost efficiency and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in sourcing/procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, financial analysis or related function preferred.
• Experience with sourcing/procurement of airline goods and services preferred.
• Leadership or project management experience in sourcing/procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, financial analysis or related function preferred
• Experience in negotiating high-value and long-term contracts preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient purchasing of goods and services and manage new suppliers and contracts.
• Analyze the market, screen potential suppliers, facilitate formal RFPs and present business cases for final vendor selection.
• Identify and track vendor performance metrics and enforce contract terms.
• Collaborate with suppliers to build action plans for performance improvement and cost savings.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and accuracy in procurement.
• Hire, train, develop and motivate a team to ensure performance and objectives are met.
• Ensure SOX compliance and participate in budget processes.
