Job summary

Frontier Airlines is seeking a Manager of Purchasing to lead an OEM and fleet-related procurement team. You will drive contracts, supplier performance, and process improvements while managing a group of strategic sourcing analysts.

The role requires a strategic mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on leadership to optimize purchasing and approvals across operations. This position offers a challenging, high-impact environment with exposure to airline industry dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in sourcing/procurement or related function preferred.
• Experience with sourcing/procurement of airline goods and services preferred.
• Leadership or project management experience in sourcing/procurement preferred.
• Experience negotiating high-value and long-term contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing Oversight: oversee purchasing of goods and services and manage new suppliers to establish vendor partnerships.
• Vendor management: track vendor performance and enforce contract terms with suppliers.
• Process Improvements: identify inefficiencies and lead cost-reduction initiatives in vendor partnerships.
• Team management and development: hire, train and motivate a team to meet objectives.
• Other Functions: ensure SOX compliance and participate in budget and conferences.
