You will lead sourcing for new product development and ongoing operations, partnering with engineering, operations, quality, and suppliers to meet cost, quality, capacity, and launch objectives.

The role requires 8+ years in sourcing/procurement, strong leadership, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration within manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or related manufacturing functions.
• Experience with manufacturing sourcing and supplier management.
• Experience supporting new product development or product launches.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-development experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance considerations.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for new product and manufacturing programs.
• Develop and maintain supplier strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with engineering, operations, quality, and other internal teams throughout the product development process.
• Support supplier selection, negotiations, cost analysis, and supplier development.
• Identify and address supplier, cost, capacity, quality, and timing risks.
• Provide leadership and guidance to sourcing/procurement team members.
• Monitor sourcing progress and communicate key issues and risks to leadership.
• Support supplier performance improvement and issue resolution.
• Help develop and improve sourcing processes, tools, and best practices.
• Support successful transition of new products into ongoing production.
• Work with suppliers on technical, capacity, cost, and launch requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives.
