Job summary

StationServ is seeking a Purchasing Agent in Memphis, TN. The role sources and purchases parts, equipment, and supplies, manages POs, coordinates with vendors, and tracks inventory to keep branches, technicians, and customers supplied when needed.

Requires at least two years in purchasing or related experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency with Excel and Sage 100. StationServ offers benefits, growth opportunities, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years purchasing, parts, inventory, or related experience.
• Ability to sort, count, and verify items received.
• Proficiency with Excel and purchasing software to maintain records and create reports.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase parts, equipment, materials, and supplies based on requirements.
• Obtain and compare vendor quotes for pricing, availability, and lead times; recommend vendors.
• Issue, track, and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery; communicate delays.
• Research aging open purchase orders and resolve them.
• Allocate items on order to jobs and create internal tickets for installation needs.
• Receive inventory into the system with documentation and transfer between locations.
• Post warranty and core adjustments with Accounting and the warehouse team.
• Coordinate with dispatch and field teams on parts-related activity.
