Construction Resources in Florida is seeking a Purchasing Administrative support to assist the Purchasing Manager with procurement of stock items and special orders, coordinating with the Warehouse Manager to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order tracking.

The role emphasizes data entry accuracy, inventory reporting, reviewing vendor acknowledgments, and coordinating delivery ETAs, with opportunities to back up the Purchasing Manager and help move showroom inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong data entry and inventory tracking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in purchasing or procurement is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Loading items into Inventory Maintenance following detailed directions.
• Review inventory levels using access reports to issue new POs for maintaining core inventory levels.
• Review vendor order acknowledgments for accuracy.
• Review vendor's open orders for updated ETAs on backordered product to assist with scheduling.
• Assist in tracking orders for delivery dates.
• Serve as backup when Purchasing Manager is out of the office.
• Pull OTC / Obsolete inventory reports and distribute to help move inventory.
• Assist with inventory adjustments / movements when necessary.
• Assist with reviewing invoices for accuracy when needed.
• Work with vendors for display orders for showrooms.
