Purchase Partners in Bridgeton, MO seeks a Purchasing Assistant to join our team. You will review purchasing reports, solicit vendor pricing, send RFQs, and place orders while supporting contract management and inventory monitoring. Strong multitasking and communication skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple departments, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely procurement and accuracy across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position is desirable.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Able to multitask and shift priorities as needed.
• Basic understanding of supply chain and inventory processes.

Responsabilités

• Review purchasing reports daily to determine inventory demand and send RFQs to suppliers.
• Place orders, expedite purchase orders, follow up on delays and maintain vendor relationships.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock levels.
• Evaluate offers from multiple vendors for best price and quality.
• Research suppliers and develop new supply chains.
• Coordinate shipping with other departments and assist in contract management.
