Job summary

A leading automotive supplier is seeking a Purchasing Intern in Troy, Michigan. The intern will play a key role in enforcing Purchasing instructions, assist with monthly reporting, and support various Purchasing Tools and methodologies. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor’s program and have experience with Excel and Google Applications. This is a full-time position during the summer and offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in courses pursuing a relevant Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with spreadsheet applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ensuring enforcement of related Purchasing instructions.
• Provide timely Purchasing reports relevant to his/her perimeter of responsibility.
• Support suppliers risk mitigation evaluation and follow-up.
