Job summary

BMW Group in Woodcliff Lake, NJ is seeking an Intern, Purchasing to support indirect purchasing activities during Fall 2026. The role focuses on budgeting, data reporting, and analytics to help drive informed decisions.

You will develop monthly budget reports, identify usage trends, retrieve data from multiple sources, and use dashboards to monitor key indicators while assisting buyers with tender processes. The position is hybrid and requires US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
• US Work Authorization required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall, not just major).
• Completed at least 60 college credit hours at the time of application.
• Ability to work Full-Time (36.25 hours/week).
• Submit an unofficial college transcript with your application.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly reports on the utilization of the budget.
• Identify trends in usage and keep the stakeholders in line with budget allocation amounts.
• Retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources.
• Utilize dashboards to identify and analyze key indicators and patterns.
• Support buyers in tenders processes.
