Job summary

Associated Staffing is seeking an Expeditor to support purchasing and supply chain activities in Hastings, NE. The role focuses on expediting orders, tracking shipments, and maintaining purchase records while collaborating with buyers and suppliers.

This long-term temporary assignment offers flexible daytime hours, up to 30 hours per week, with pay between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour depending on experience, and potential for permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with domestic and international suppliers to expedite orders and obtain shipment status updates.
• Run daily purchasing reports and distribute open purchase order reports to suppliers.
• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules.
• Issue RFQs to support purchasing activities.
• Maintain and update purchasing information in company systems.
• Prepare and maintain KPI reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Purchase C-Class materials, MRO supplies as needed.
• Work closely with Buyers to support purchasing and procurement needs.
• Identify potential supply delays and communicate updates to the team.
• Assist with additional purchasing and administrative duties as assigned.
