Job summary

Lubker Distribution in the United States is seeking a Purchasing & Expediting Specialist to act as the command center of our supply chain. You’ll manage purchase orders from creation in our ERP to final delivery from vendors, ensuring inventory aligns with demand.

You will monitor confirmations and shipping schedules for accuracy, coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, and serve as the bridge between suppliers, sales, and warehouse teams to keep everything on track.

• Experience with PO lifecycle and ERP systems.
• Strong supplier coordination with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the Purchase Order lifecycle from PO creation to final delivery.
• Proactively monitor order confirmations and shipping schedules to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies in quantities, pricing or delivery dates.
• Maintain accurate PO documentation and provide timely ERP updates.
• Act as the bridge between suppliers and internal sales and warehouse teams.
• Identify potential delays and work with suppliers to improve lead times and avoid delays.
• Coordinate with carriers to expedite shipments when necessary.

Job description

As our Purchasing & Expediting Specialist, you are the \"command center\" of our supply chain. You’ll work in a focused, collaborative office environment to ensure our inventory is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.

Procurement & Order Management

• Own the Purchase Order lifecycle from PO creation in our ERP system to final delivery from the vendor.
• Proactively monitor order confirmations and shipping schedules to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Work closely with suppliers to address any discrepancies in order quantities, pricing, or delivery dates strive to “get it right the first time.”
• Maintain accurate purchase order documentation and communicate timely updates in the ERP system.
• Act as the primary bridge between our suppliers and our internal sales and warehouse teams.

Expediting & Supplier Coordination

• Identify potential delays before they impact the customer and work with suppliers to improve lead times and avoid delays.
• Work with carriers and logistics partners to expedite shipments when necessary.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships to improve response times and mitigate risks.

Logistics & Delivery Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries when necessary.
• Assist in resolving freightrelated disputes or discrepancies.
