The Company is seeking a motivated Expeditor to join our team. The Expeditor is responsible for monitoring and accelerating the flow of materials, components, and information throughout the supply chain to ensure on-time delivery for production and customer orders. This role works closely with Purchasing, Suppliers, Production, and Logistics teams to resolve delays and maintain schedule commitments.
Job Responsibilities
Tracking Progress
- Monitor orders, materials, and tasks to ensure they remain on schedule.
- Track the status of production and supplier deliveries to support on-time completion.
Coordinating Teams
- Communicate effectively between Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and other departments.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of orders.
Preventing Delays
- Identify bottlenecks and potential supply chain issues.
- Resolve delays quickly to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
Following Up on Orders
- Ensure materials, supplies, and components are delivered on time.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding order status and delivery commitments.
Updating Status
- Provide timely updates and progress reports to managers and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of order status, delays, and corrective actions.
Education
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent relevant work experience.
