Position Summary
The Purchasing & Logistics Specialist is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material flow to support manufacturing operations. This role plans, procures, expedites, and coordinates materials required for production while proactively identifying and resolving shortages before they impact output.

- 90–95%+ material availability
- High purchase order accuracy and timeliness
- Minimal production downtime due to shortages

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Procurement & Purchasing
- Source and procure materials
- Issue and manage purchase orders
- Evaluate pricing, lead times, supplier performance
- Material Planning & Production Suppor t
- Maintain material availability
- Align with production schedules
- Anticipate shortages
- Expediting & Shortage Management
- Track and expedite materials
- Own shortage resolution
- Logistics & Coordination
- Coordinate inbound material flow
- Monitor and report risks
- Cross-Functional Communication

Requirements
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma required
- 1–3 years relevant experience preferred
Technical Knowledge
- ERP/MRP systems
- Microsoft Office
Skills & Abilities
- Problem‑solving, communication, organization
- Ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively
Work Environment
- Office and production floor
- Moderate noise exposure
- PPE required
