Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Manager - Purchasing within its OES Equipment family in the United States. The role leads purchasing operations and demand planning, supervising regional teams and aligning forecasts with project needs.

The ideal candidate will drive forecasting accuracy, supplier engagement, and procurement governance while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize inventory and meet enterprise material requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, demand planning, or procurement operations.
• 2-4 years of experience leading purchasing teams or coordinating team workload.
• Experience developing forecasts, demand plans, or inventory strategies.
• Experience using ERP, procurement, or forecasting systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages purchasing specialists, including workload coordination, performance management, and development.
• Oversees purchase order execution, transfers, and stocked purchasing activities to ensure operational continuity.
• Develops and maintains aggregated demand forecasts and item-level demand plans aligned with project and branch requirements.
• Identifies and aggregates material and service demand across internal entities to support forecasting and supplier planning.
• Analyzes forecast data and market intelligence to adjust planning assumptions and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Establishes processes for forecasting governance, inventory optimization, and supplier alignment.
• Monitors purchasing and demand planning performance metrics and implements corrective actions as needed.
