Job summary

OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, seeks a Manager - Purchasing to lead purchasing operations and demand planning across the enterprise. The role oversees regional specialists, develops aggregated forecasts, and aligns procurement with cross-functional needs to improve governance and supplier engagement.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years in purchasing or procurement, with 2-4 years in leadership, plus experience using ERP or forecasting

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, demand planning, or procurement operations.
• 2-4 years of experience leading purchasing teams or coordinating team workload.
• Experience developing forecasts, demand plans, or inventory strategies.
• Experience using ERP, procurement, or forecasting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage purchasing specialists, including workload coordination and performance management.
• Oversee purchase order execution, transfers, and stocked purchasing activities.
• Develop and maintain aggregated demand forecasts and item-level demand plans.
• Identify and aggregate material and service demand across internal entities.
• Analyze forecast data and market intelligence to adjust planning assumptions and inform stakeholders.
• Establish forecasting governance, inventory optimization, and supplier alignment processes.
• Monitor purchasing and demand planning performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
