Job summary

M/I Homes is seeking a Division Purchasing Coordinator in Michigan to manage costing, pricing data, and budgeting across divisions. You will ensure data integrity in the JD Edwards system and mediate field/trade communications with vendors.

Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, tracking rebates, preparing bid packages, and maintaining vendor files. Requires HS diploma; construction knowledge and Excel/Word skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• General office and administrative skills to support departmental workflow.
• Customer-service oriented with professional attitude; good written/verbal skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction and ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Experience with data entry, Accounts Payable, and database maintenance desired.
• Familiarity with Oracle JD Edwards or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates division purchasing and pricing information management processes.
• Release and process start/change-order purchase orders.
• Track rebates and model discounts; maintain cost data accuracy.
• Manage vendor pricing, takeoffs, and record keeping.
• Prepare bid documents and distribute to vendors; analyze monthly cost changes.
• Maintain vendor files and perform contract expiration tracking.
• Communicate price changes to Sales, Construction, and Subcontractors.
