Job summary

Ariat International, a California-based global brand, seeks a Purchasing Coordinator to manage finished goods Purchase Orders for Ariat and third-party products. You will coordinate PO creation, auditing, and timely processing while partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies and drive efficiency.

Strong customer service mindset, data analysis in Tableau, and adherence to 24–48 hour SLAs are essential.

Qualifications

• AA degree or above in business or related field.
• 0-3 years of work experience in a retail or corporate supply chain environment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Process-oriented with solid time management and multi-tasking.
• Strong quantitative skills for data synthesis and action steps.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create, amend, audit, and manage product Purchase Orders for all products and channels.
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly Tableau reports (open PO, order book) for timely PO management.
• Coordinate with global Planning and Production on launches and replenishment POs.
• Support 24–48-hour processing SLAs.
• Collaborate with Marketing on Fixture, GWPs, and Accessories POs.
• Assist Retail teams with data setup in Team Works.
• Audit incoming data before PO setup; resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Be a key UAT participant for S4 and TeamWorks system changes.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Job description

The Purchasing Coordinator is a key administrative supply chain role designed to create, update, and manage finished good/inventory Purchase Orders for all Ariat and third-party products. The position is focused on ensuring efficient, accurate and timely processing of POs while also collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to pro-actively resolve discrepancies and errors. The successful candidate will have a strong sense of customer service awareness, be able to prioritize and deliver results within tight deadlines, and identify and implement automation and optimization opportunities.

You’ll Make a Difference By

• Creating, amending, auditing, and managing product Purchase Orders for all products and channels.
• Managing daily, weekly, monthly reporting in Tableau (ie open PO report/order book, etc) to ensure timely, accurate PO management and closure.
• Partnering with global Planning and Production to process launch and replenishment product POs and aligning on order related information.
• Supporting 24–48-hour processing SLAs.
• Collaborating with Marketing to process Fixture, GWPs, and Accessories POs on-time and without error.
• Supporting retail teams with data set-up and processing in Team Works.
• Auditing all incoming information prior to PO set-up. Resolving missing, unclear, or inaccurate data quickly and effectively.
• Serving as a key UAT team test member for system functionality changes/upgrades (S4, TeamWorks).
• Assisting with other responsibilities based on business needs.

About You

• AA degree or above in business or a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Operations Management)
• 0-3 years of work experience in a retail or corporate supply chain environment working with multi-functional and cross-functional teams
• Able to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Process-oriented with solid time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work, with minimal supervision
• Ability to identify problems and define, recommend and implement solutions
• Strong quantitative skills. Ability to identify, gather, synthesize and interpret data from multiple sources, distill the correct conclusions, and create action steps
• Adept communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with and influence internal/external stakeholders
• Proficient at building relationships, making presentations, and holding valuable one-to one conversations
• Well-organized, with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
• Strongly motivated with sense of urgency
• Intermediate MS Office suite and other analytical toolset (e.g. Tableau) skills. Knowledge of SAP AFS/S4, INFOR a plus

The hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.

The compensation is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
