Job Overview

The Purchasing Coordinator performs duties related to purchasing and supply management. This role is responsible for receiving and processing purchase orders and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.

Job Responsibilities

1. Buy and manage inventory for vendors.
2. Maintain vendor and product information in TakeStock.
3. Provide administrative support for purchase orders.
4. Participate in inventory processes.
5. Complete purchase orders, manage order entry, and resolve related issues.
6. Handle correspondence, documents, and maintain filing and data systems.
7. Offer excellent customer service to internal and external partners and serve as a resource for PO needs.
8. Order trailers and write POs.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Professional Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in purchasing or supply chain management (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with TakeStock is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Service-oriented with the ability to prioritize, work independently, and achieve objectives.
• Team-oriented with collaborative focus.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, questioning, and conflict resolution.
