Job summary

Dillabaugh's Flooring America in Boise, ID is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to take ownership of the ordering process from start to finish. You'll work closely with sales consultants, vendors, and the warehouse team to keep purchasing on track.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Purchasing, Procurement or Inventory roles, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. Training provided and on-site work with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years proven work experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Inventory Management or Administrative support
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Fundamental tech and math skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Own the purchasing process from order to receipt
• Create and review purchase orders with pricing and delivery timelines
• Maintain RFMS data: pricing, costs, product details, vendor info
• Coordinate with sales, vendors, warehouse and inventory teams
• Support a virtual assistant and ensure quality work and alignment
• Build vendor partnerships for better pricing
• Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes

Dillabaugh's Flooring America in Boise, ID is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to take ownership of the ordering process from start to finish. You'll work closely with multiple sales consultants and vendors, plus the warehouse and inventory teams - so organization, urgency, and follow through are essential.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

• Report directly to the Accounting Division Controller
• Own the purchasing process - ensuring products are ordered, received & ready on time
• Create & review purchase orders - confirming availability, pricing & delivery timelines for accuracy
• Maintain clean, accurate RFMS data, including pricing, costs, product details & vendor info
• Oversee RFMS Product Gateway, eCommerce integrations & Product Importer/Exporter (PIE)
• Coordinate with sales, vendors, warehouse/inventory teams to keep purchasing & projects on track
• Manage & support a virtual assistant - ensuring quality work, efficiency & alignment with team goals
• Build strong vendor partnerships to secure better pricing and long term value
• Spot opportunities to streamline processes & improve efficiency across purchasing

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years proven work experience as a Purchasing, Procurement, Inventory Management, Administrative Assistant or similar role.
• Valid driver's license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED)
• Ability to pass a background check & drug test (REQUIRED)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Fundamental tech & math skills
• Positive, communicative & motivated to help grow the business
• Sense of urgency & cost consciousness
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Collaboration skills & ability to delegate effectively
• Organizational skills & the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
• Analytical skills, critical thinking & problem-solving abilities

• Knowledge of RFMS is a plus, but not required - willing to train
• Flooring experience is a plus, but not required — we're happy to train the right person
