Job summary

Responsibilities

• Enter and receive part orders.
• Pull issue sheets daily for storeroom parts used and verify inventory in AX.
• Stock and organize parts in storeroom.
• Receive freight, compare with PO, and enter in AX; print labels.
• Obtain vendor quotes for non-stock items; prepare requisitions and code to areas.
• State parts for special projects and prepare freight paperwork.
• Perform cycle counts and monthly adjustments; ensure accuracy.
• Travel to other mills to exchange parts when needed.
• Assist Buyer and Maintenance Supervisor; train as backup.

Job description

Organize and maintain supply levels for mill, order and receive parts, pick up and deliver parts. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential functions satisfactorily.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.46.

Daily Job Duties

• Enter and receive part orders.
• Pull issue sheets each day for storeroom parts used. Check inventory on each part to be issued to determine physical inventory vs. actual in AX System and issue accordingly.
• Stocking parts
• Pull packing slips off freight delivered. Compare items received to purchase order, then receive in AX System as shown. Print labels for storeroom items, place on part, then put in correct location.
• Obtain quotes from vendors for non-stock items needed mill wide. Prepare purchase requisitions for non-stock items and code to areas accurately.
• State parts for special projects.
• Prepare paperwork for freight shipped from Mill Site and schedule pickup.
• Complete cycle counts for storeroom parts, area to be counted by month-end and adjustments made.
• Run late shipment reports and contact vendors for updated delivery on parts. Update person requesting part on delivery.
• Travel to exchange parts between mills when needed.
• Assist Buyer and Maintenance Supervisor as needed. Train to be backup for Buyer.
