Job summary

Rayonier is seeking a full-time on-site loader in the wood products division to load finished lumber onto trucks and trains.

Requirements include completing forklift safety training and obtaining forklift certification. The role includes emphasizing safety rules, performing daily duties, and overtime as needed. Comprehensive benefits are offered, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Take customers orders out of the inventory computer system.
• Figure how the loads will best fit on the truck or rail car.
• Load lumber onto truck or train without damaging the product.
• Scan orders out of the inventory system & give driver a detailed ticket showing what is on the order.
• Pick up broken boards and strapping.
• Keep inventory in sheds straight.
• Fix any lumber packages that are busted or damaged.
• Follow all applicable safety rules.
• Works regularly scheduled shifts.
• Work scheduled overtime - as required.
• Tally trucks and Rail Cars.

Description

Load finished lumber onto trucks and train cars to ship to customers.

The rate of pay for this position is $24.18 per hour.

Daily Job Duties:

• Take customers orders out of the inventory computer system.
• Figure how the loads will best fit on the truck or rail car.
• Load lumber onto truck or train without damaging the product.
• Scan orders out of the inventory system & give driver a detailed ticket showing what is on the order.
• Pick up broken boards and strapping.
• Keep inventory in sheds straight.
• Fix any lumber packages that are busted or damaged.
• Follow all applicable safety rules.
• Works regularly scheduled shifts.
• Work scheduled overtime - as required.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Tally trucks and Rail Cars.
