Job summary

Concord Hospitality is seeking a part-time Food Storeroom Assistant in Atlanta. You will label/date products, rotate stock via FIFO, assist with inventory, and follow PPE and safety procedures for equipment and lifting.

Duties also include confidentiality, uniform standards, and supporting co-workers with dignity and respect. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, with shifts from 7am to 1pm on delivery days.

Responsibilities

• Label and date all food and beverage products in the food storeroom.
• Rotate food products for the First In, First Out process.
• Assist Chef with taking inventory in the food storeroom, food coolers, and food freezers.
• Use proper equipment, wear PPE, and employ correct lifting procedures to avoid injury.
• Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
• Follow company and department policies and procedures.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
• Ensure uniform, nametag, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
• Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
• Lock and unlock secure merchandise storage areas.
• Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
