Under minimal supervision, you will drive lead-time and cost reductions through supplier management, requisition processing, and predefined purchasing limits, with a focus on accuracy and timely follow-up.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to use basic math to analyze information
• Knowledge with computer systems and experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Responsibilities

• The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for controlling the material requirements, schedules, and shop orders for their assigned value streams.
• Ensure proper raw material and finished goods inventory levels to meet daily and forecasted sales requirements.
• Drive lead-time and cost reduction goals through supplier management and job planning activities.
• Requisition processing and predefined purchase limits with PO accuracy and order follow-up.
