Job summary

RedBuilt LLC in Stayton, OR is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to prepare, monitor, and coordinate purchase orders for materials to customers and internal manufacturing. You will use Microsoft platforms and NetSuite ERP to monitor inventory and orders, ensuring on-time material deliveries.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative supply chain team with access to support when needed.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) is a plus.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, supply chain procurement or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Summary:

As a Purchasing Clerk for RedBuilt LLC, your primary focus will be on preparing, monitoring, and coordinating purchase orders. You will work as part of a team to purchase materials direct to customers and for internal manufacturing needs. You will use both the Microsoft Platform and NetSuite ERP systems to monitor inventory and ordering needs. The Purchasing Clerk will be a critical role ensuring on time material deliveries to customers.

This role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills to succeed in a fast-paced, and often self-directed environment. You'll work within a small, collaborative supply chain team where access to support is always available.

Responsibilities:

Demand Monitoring:

• Review and analyze reports to order materials for just-in-time purchasing.
• Make independent decisions on placing orders based on vendor lead time and customer delivery dates.

Place and Manage Purchase Orders:

• Create purchase orders, communicate with vendors, and maintain purchase records appropriately.
• Monitor open orders and follow up with vendors as required.
• Manage dates, communication, and receival needs for deliveries.
• Proactively communicate with internal team members about supply chain issues and actively participate in solutioning efforts.

Cross Functional Support:

• Work closely with scheduling and logistics team members to ensure correct orders are placed.
• Coordination with plant receiving agents, accounts payable, and others to ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Support other team members and provide coverage as needed.

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Effective communication: Clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fantastic organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) is a plus.
• 2+ years working in manufacturing, supply chain procurement or related field is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
