Job summary

Firstpro Inc in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Purchasing Assistant / Buyer to support the supply chain team. This permanent, direct-hire role offers standard M-F hours, on-site in the office, and a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000.

Responsibilities include managing supplier orders, answering inquiries, using Excel for tracking, assisting with materials and inventory oversight, and coordinating deliveries. Ideal candidates have a minimum of a high school diploma and 2 years purchasing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent minimum.
• 2 years of purchasing / procurement experience.
• Previous experience working for a manufacturing company preferred.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist supply chain team with managing and placing supplier orders.
• Answer calls and inquiries made to the supply chain department.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for all tracking & reporting.
• Help with oversight of the materials and inventory management.
• Oversee orders and coordinate deliveries.
