Golden Hippo is seeking a Purchasing Assistant Intern in Woodland Hills, CA. This part-time role (25-29 hours/week) runs Sept 14 through Dec 10, located at our Woodland Hills office.

You will assist the Purchasing and Supply Chain teams, maintain open orders, and coordinate with vendors on PO transactions and ETAs. The internship emphasizes relationship building, detail orientation, and organizational skills, with opportunities to learn purchasing processes and contribute to cost-efficient

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing functions for Golden Hippo and the Supply Chain team.
• Maintain all open orders and update the system accordingly.
• Work with Vendors on open orders and related PO transactions.
• Ensure all Purchase Orders are up to date; check past dues and PPVs.
• Close POs and update ETAs per open orders.
• Develop relationships with vendors to secure best price and service.
• Update Master sheet and upload BOLs/PODs where applicable.
• Run Open order report and share ETAs with vendors.
• Process corrugated POs per warehouse needs.
• Contribute to projects affecting the purchasing team.

Location: Woodland Hills, CA

Program Dates: Start Date: September 14th End Date: December 10th

Workload: Part-time, 25-29 hours/week

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for assisting Purchasing functions for Golden Hippo and assisting the Supply Chain team.
• This position will also maintain all open orders and update the system accordingly.
• Work closely with Vendors on open orders and any transactions pertaining to the POs.
• Ensure that all Purchase Orders are up to Date check for past dues and PPVs.
• Close POs accordingly and update ETAs per open orders.
• Develop relationships with vendors to get the best price and service.
• Work closely with Vendors on open orders and update Master sheet.
• Acknowledge POs and upload BOLs and PODs where applicable.
• Run Open order report and share with vendors to get up-to-date ETAs.
• Process corrugated POs per warehouse needs.
• Work on projects that will pertain the purchasing team.

The base hourly range is $18-$20.
