Golden Hippo, an employee-owned health and wellness brand builder, is seeking a Purchasing Assistant Intern in Woodland Hills, CA. This part-time internship (25–29 hours/week) runs Sept 14 through Dec 10 and offers hands-on exposure to the purchasing and supply chain teams.

You’ll help maintain open orders, update POs, liaise with vendors, and support process improvements. The role requires strong relationship skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing functions for Golden Hippo and Supply Chain team.
• Maintain all open orders and update the system accordingly.
• Work closely with Vendors on open orders and related POs.
• Ensure that all Purchase Orders are up to Date.
• Check for past dues and PPVs.
• Close POs and update ETAs per open orders.
• Develop relationships with vendors for best price and service.
• Update Master sheet with open orders and ETAs.
• Acknowledge POs and upload BOLs and PODs where applicable.
• Run Open order report and share with vendors for ETAs.
• Process corrugated POs per warehouse needs.
• Work on projects that will pertain the purchasing team.

Program Dates:

• Start Date:September 14th
• End Date:December 10th

Workload:Part-time, 25-29 hours/week

What You’ll Be Doing: Responsible for assisting Purchasing functions for Golden Hippo and assisting the Supply Chain team. This position will also maintain all open orders and update the system accordingly. Work closely with Vendors on open orders and any transactions pertaining to the POs.

• Ensure that all Purchase Orders are up to Date
• Check for past dues and PPVs
• Close POs accordingly and update ETAs per open orders
• Develop relationships with vendors to get the best price and service

• Acknowledge POs and upload BOLs and PODs where applicable

• Process corrugated POs per warehouse needs

The base hourly range is $18-$20.
