JCM Associates, a leading HVAC and plumbing contractor in Upper Marlboro, MD, seeks a Purchasing Assistant to support field operations by sourcing materials for 15+ active projects. You will learn our common materials and collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to ensure timely fulfillment of foreman orders.

As you build supplier relationships, process bulk and foreman orders, and maintain purchasing records in our accounting system, you’ll gain hands-on experience and have the opportunity to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Pass drug screening and background check.
• Accurate and detail-oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work with teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing Manager and source materials for construction projects.
• Build relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Receive and process foreman and bulk orders daily.
• Maintain purchasing records in the accounting system.
