The role focuses on PO creation, cost verification, inventory tracking, and vendor coordination to keep materials available on schedule. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in purchasing, preferably in Plumbing and HVAC.
• Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately verify incoming and outgoing Purchase Orders and Packing Slips.
• Track and update inventory with accurate records in Inventory Programs.
• Create purchase orders and monitor their status.
• Negotiate cost, delivery schedule and terms with vendors.
• Follow up with Vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in project meetings to understand delivery schedules.
