Job summary

CS Automation, a Tramec Company, located in Ontario, NY, is seeking a full-time Purchasing / Assembly Technology Assistant to support the Purchasing Manager and Assembly Technology Coordinator in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage weekly reports, process orders in Prophet 21, coordinate production schedules, and assist with BOMs and vendor communications. This role offers growth within a ISO 9001 certified, customer-centric team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of supply chain or purchasing experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, maintain priorities.
• Professional communication with vendors and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Run weekly overdue purchase order reports and coordinate updates with vendors.
• Expedite orders and manage delivery dates with suppliers.
• Log receipts, address shortages, and coordinate with warehouse staff.
• Process C of C requests and support inventory projects.
• Assist with production scheduling and BOM documentation.
