Job summary

RealREPP in Las Vegas is seeking a Purchasing Agent to drive procurement, supplier selection, and delivery of materials for construction projects. You will work with field staff, estimating, and fabrication to secure best value while ensuring timely delivery.

The role requires experience in procurement practices, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with ERP systems. You will collaborate with accounting, project management, and vendors to resolve issues and optimize purchasing workflows.

Qualifications

• 2 year AA degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing practices, systems, and practices.
• Good ability to effectively negotiate and procure items in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

This role is responsible for executing the quoting, procurement, and delivery of specified products and/or services from qualified suppliers and subcontractors within established Company policies and practices. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for determining and making recommendations for the best evaluated solution for the Company with respect to cost, quality, delivery, National Supply Agreement and other similar elements.

• Strong product knowledge of pipe, valves, and fittings for Plumbing / mechanical systems.


• Ability to operate a personal computer using spreadsheet, word processing, data base software, and experience using ERP software. (COINS preferred)


• Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment


• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, customers, project management team, field staff, and accounting in a team environment.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
